Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star
Our slideshow is based on the rhyme "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star". Our concept behind our comic was having the "star" represent celebrities in the media. Our comic's story is about someone looking up at the sky and seeing celebrities in each star he views. The character is confounded by society's fervent fascination with the stars, as well as celebrities' tendencies to do bizarre and ridiculous things. We illustrate the character's frustration with celebrity fame and behavior during the "How I wonder what you are" panel.
Our comic also shows images of child celebrities. This is a way to show specifically children's fascination with celebrities. It is also to show hope that younger celebrities don't grow up to have the habits of more troubled celebrities, such as Lindsay Lohan's drug problem.
